Google DeepMind has introduced a new concept called Game Engine. This system uses AI to create video game environments in real time. Of course, there are challenges. One problem is something called autoregressive drift. Small mistakes add up, leading to unrealistic results. To fix this, researchers used noise augmentation. This adds controlled randomness to the training process, helping the AI correct itself.

Despite its limitations, Game Engine is a big step towards AI-generated worlds. The idea of AI creating game environments is becoming a reality. Future versions will need to handle more complex games, but the potential is huge.

With increasing speed and better technology, we could soon see AI-generated video games created from text or image prompts. This future might not be far off. Research and development continue to push the boundaries of what AI can do.
